  How long will it last?

Most spray tans last roughly 7 to 10 days, depending on your aftercare and how you’re taking care of your tan. We highly recommend using our body oil and lather for post tan care!

Is there anything I should do to prepare for my spray tan appointment?

Exfoliate and shave/wax the day before (or at least 8 hours before). This will get rid of any dead skin and provide a more even skin surface for the solution. You will also want to avoid using Dove products as this leaves a film on your skin and prevents your tan from fully developing.

Is there anything I shouldn’t use on my skin before my appointment?

Avoid lotions, makeup, oils, deodorant on your skin before your appointment.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear dark loose clothing to ensure you’re not rubbing your freshly sprayed tan.

When should I shower afterwards?

For rapid solutions you can shower 2-6 hours afterwards. (Your technician will give you a rinse time) For signature solutions wait 8-10 hours. Your first rinse should be with warm water, no soap and only use your hand to rub off the remaining bronzer. If you feel streaky post shower, this is usually just bronzer left on the skin… hop back in and rub the area again!

Is there anything I should use on my skin after my first shower?

You should be using a paraben and sulfate free body wash and moisturizer. We have some amazing post care products that are hydrating and leave your skin feeling silky in the salon! You technician will walk you through your post care routine! For longer lasting results, we recommend using a tan extender.

Is spray tanning safe?

Yes! One of the main ingredients in our solutions is dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is a carbohydrate (monosaccharide sugar) compound approved by the FDA for use in externally applied sunless tanning solutions. It is usually derived from a vegetable source like beets or sugar cane. *If you are pregnant we recommend checking with your Dr. before booking your tan. With that being said, we have spray tanned hundreds of expecting mommas!
